As event designers and wedding planners in Cabo, our purpose is to arouse, by means of what we design and coordinate, emotional responses in our clients and their guests. Weddings, anniversaries, birthday celebrations... love is the prime mover of each event. That is why our creative process is focused, rather than on ideas, on emotions.
I was born in Guanajuato from Spanish parents and, ever since I was a little girl, my dream was to design. I'm positive I inherited this passion from Mom... a designer, photographer and plastic artist. My Interior Design studies provided me with the necessary tools to build this company and witness its growth. I'm passionate about each new project, and I always seek to transmit warmth and good taste in every single detail.
I take into account my clients' ideas and commentaries for the creation of each event... I consider their thoughts, dreams, and tastes, adding the required components to give birth to a new and original reality, surprising and moving.
I would not say my style is defined, I would rather say it is something of my own: a style in which I look for combining restored antique furniture with simple elements of everyday life and unique items with a fresh, elegant and sophisticated aura.
Now, as for Patricia... She is the perfect complement... her analytical, patient personality is the key element in the creation of an impeccably executed and coordinated Cabo event.
Marianna's artistic sensibility and design skills are the starting point for the coordination of all Cabo events.
I was born in Acapulco and, since my parents worked in the tourism and hotel industry, I lived in several tourist cities. Like them, I studied Hotel Administration at Guadalajara and Montreal where I also refined my skills in other languages. I had always wanted to learn thoroughly about the fascinating world of wedding planners in Cabo, events' operation, management, service and coordination.
Throughout the fifteen years of my life at Los Cabos, I have worked for various instances of the hotel industry and tourist complexes' operation and management. During the past seven years, I held a job at one of the event companies with more history and prestige in that destination, Senior Event Planner.
My experience in catering and event planning services constitute the foundation for my performance at Event Design by Marianna Idirin. And, of course, Los Cabos inspires me to turn each event into magic. There's no place as beautiful as Los Cabos!

We were excited about doing a destination wedding in Cabo, but the prospect of planning it ourselves from San Francisco was pretty intimidating. Fortunately for us, we had witnessed Patricia's excellent work at our friends' nuptials 3 years before. The proof was in the pudding: our friends' wedding had been a huge success, and so we asked Patricia to be our planner based on that memory. We visited Cabo for just a couple of days to do site visits and put the big pieces in place. Patty was our gracious tour guide, lining up visits with all the vendors and proposing several venue options to suit our needs. We were grateful that with Patty's help we could cross so many action items off our wedding list in a very short time. Later, in the days leading up to the wedding, Patty was a whirlwind of activity, sending important updates, dotting the I's and crossing the T's. I was very lucky two years ago to have Marianna organizing my birthday party. I was tired and did not want to celebrate but she convinced me that if I let her work on it, I would be very happy and pleased! She was so right! She took care of everything, I just had to go one day to the wonderful sight she picked and basically heard what she had in mind. Everything sounded perfect to me and so it was: the most amazing candy table with all sorts of delicious things to eat presented in very cute boxes, colored papers with tags with my name on them, tacos buffet she hired was the most appropiate menu. All my guests loved the selection and the quality of the food. The display of furniture was very cool and very convenient. I wanted me and my friends to be able to walk around the area but be comfortable anyplace. She chose the right kind of lounge seats, acapulco chairs in matching bright colors, nice pillows and little tables. I really had a beautiful party thanks to the help and expertise of Marianna. Loved her worked and generosity. Everyone told me they enjoyed every single detail and we all had a blast!
